Support getting a job in care

If you're looking for help to find a job in care, or want to develop your skills, there is support and training you can access.

Employment and skills services

Opportunity Sheffield is Sheffield City Council's employment and skills service.

They can support you with finding a job or apprenticeship, attending training, or with career progression.

If you’re unemployed, you may be able to join a short training course to get an interview, job or apprenticeship in social care.

Websites such as National Careers Service and JobHelp can help you with finding jobs or writing applications or interviews.
