Sheffield Care Academy launch!
Thursday 24 October 2024 marked a significant milestone for the social care community of Sheffield as we officially launched the Sheffield CARES – Sheffield’s Care Academy at the Town Hall!
Speakers included Kate Josephs (Chief Executive of Sheffield City Council), Councillor Angela Argenzio (Chair of the Social Care Committee), the Sheffield CARES team, Charlotte Charnock (Sector Routeways), and Lisa Markham (Personal Advisor Network).
Speakers highlighted the vital role Sheffield CARES will play in shaping the future of social care in Sheffield. Lisa highlighted how the Care Academy will inspire more people to become Personal Assistants and shared her excitement about what's to come.
